The following is a list of a life lessons posted on Everyday Life Lessons that really resonated with me.  The site is maintained by Marc of Marc and Angel Hack Life

“Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”

“You never know how strong you really are until being strong is the only choice you have.”

“The best revenge is happiness, because nothing drives your adversaries more insane that seeing you smiling and living a good life.”

“Making one person smile can change the world.  Maybe not the whole world, but their world.  Start small. Start now.”

“No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying.”

“Never let success get to your head and never let failure get to your heart.”

“In work and business, when they need you more than you need them, you have succeeded.”

“Good relationships don’t just happen; they take time, patience, and two people who want to work to be together.”

“I don’t need a certain number of friends, just a number of friends I can be certain of.”

“The only different between an obstacle and an opportunity is your attitude.”

“The secret to success is no secret.  Just work hard and add more value to people’s lives than anyone else does!”

“If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way.  If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.”

“Don’t carry your mistakes around with you.  Instead, place them under your feet and use them as stepping stones.”

“Free your heart from hatred.  Free your mind from worries.  Live simply.  Give more. Expect less.  Smile when you can.”

“Change is the only permanent thing in life.”

“Life isn’t about winning or losing, it’s about continual growth.  Achievement, failure, and the path to these two teach you valuable lessons, which contribute to your personal growth.  No matter what you do, you grow in one way or another.”

“Share your knowledge.  It’s a simply way to achieve immortality.”

“The happiest people I know keep an open mind to new ideas and ventures, use their leisure time as a means of mental development, and love good music, good books, good pictures, good company, and good conversation.  And oftentimes, they are also the cause of happiness in others, me in particular.”

“Enjoy the little things, because one day you might look back and discover they were the big things.”
