Around The Blogosphere

Part of the beauty of the blogosphere is that it is open to everyone.  At no other point in human history  have so many ideas, opinions, and experiences been just one click away.  We live in an epoch of globalization in which technology has enabled the instantaneous sharing of information.  The concept is beautiful and frightening at the same time.  Here's a selection of my favorite blog posts from the past week or so.

College
A short, but thoughtful post on the benefits and drawbacks of specialization.  For more thoughts on this subject, read my post "What Is A Renaissance Man?"
Read about four unique ways to get out of your dorm room and active on campus.  You'll probably meet some of these people.

Politics and Economics
An insightful, and refreshingly conservative look at the relationships between the debt crisis, taxes, and government spending.
Life Hacks
Religion
Even though you might not agree with atheists, there's no justification for violence or anger towards them.
A short synopsis of what looks to be an interesting film about priests in Catholic schools.
