As you might know, it has become commonplace in America for a man to propose to a woman at a baseball game. The tradition makes sense- you ask your girlfriend to marry you while enjoying America’s pastime.
Last Monday, a serviceman proposed at Kauffman Stadium on the Kansas City Royal’s giant scoreboard. Unbeknownst to the girlfriend, the serviceman was in house on an earlier-than-expected homecoming. This is a wonderful, touching story, and I wish them a happy marriage.
